We are pleased to announce that we have been awarded a three-year grant from The National Lottery Community Fund to run our new "Lend a Story" project at over 100 libraries across England.
Each participating library will be paired with a local special school and a class from that school will visit the library for a storytelling session with parents and library staff observing. There will then be a multi-sensory storytelling training session for parents and library staff. Each library will receive three of our books and in the afternoon there will be a session for library staff on how to set up a lending scheme for parents.
All parents are welcome to attend the free storytelling training in the morning from 10am to 1pm. Confirmed sessions are as follows:
26/09/19 Morden Library, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden SM4 5DX
01/10/19 Kent Elms Library, 1 Rayleigh Road, Leigh on Sea, SS9 5UU
