Thanks to our funders

We do not receive any grants from central or local government and are dependent on donations to enable our work to take place. We are grateful for all donations no matter how big or small but we list below the donations of £2,500 and above that we received during 2015:

  • £98,384.00 donation from The Big Lottery Fund towards the cost of our Tall Stories multi-sensory storytelling and training project with adults in England.
  • £25,000.00 donation from Annington towards the cost of our Once Upon A Time storytelling project at Special Schools across the UK.
  • £16,800.00 donation from The Henry Smith Charity towards the cost of our Director of Services post.
  • £15,000.00 unrestricted donation from The Pears Foundation.
  • £12,000.00 donation from The Foyle Foundation towards the production costs of our multi-sensory story "A Pirate Adventure".
  • £9,758.00 donation from The St James's Place Foundation towards the cost of our developing a new multi-sensory book and sending a copy to 47 children's hospices.
  • £8,000.00 unrestricted donation from An Anonymous Fund.
  • £6,714.00 donation from Simply Health towards the cost of our Storytelling in Hospital Schools project.
  • £6,159.62 donation from The Boshier-Hinton Foundation towards the production costs of our multi-sensory story "Band Rehearsal".
  • £5,252.00 donation from The Hilary Awdry Charitable Trust towards the cost of developing a new multi-sensory book.
  • £5,100.00 donation from The Crerar Hotels Trust towards the cost of our Autism Storytime project in Scotland.
  • £5,000.00 donation from An Anonymous Trust towards the cost of our Once Upon A Time storytelling project at Special Schools in Leicestershire.
  • £5,000.00 donation from The Adint Charitable Trust towards the production costs of our multi-sensory story "Museum Mystery".
  • £5,000.00 donation from The Mulberry Trust towards the production costs of our multi-sensory story "A Pirate Adventure".
  • £5,000.00 donation from The Clare Milne Trust towards the cost of multi-sensory storytelling to children and adults in Devon & Cornwall.
  • £5,000.00 unrestricted donation from The Philip and Marjorie Robinson Charitable Trust.

  • £4,300.00 donation from The Pixel Fund towards the production costs of our multi-sensory story "A Day At The Seaside".

  • £3,000.00 donation from The Ernest Kleinwort Charitable Trust towards the cost of our Once Upon A Time storytelling project at Special Schools in Sussex.
