It has been quite an experience for the team planning and filming during lockdown, but we’re so lucky to have the fabulous presenter, Edith Bowman, fronting our appeal and a wonderful group of contributors who’ve really gone above and beyond during this crazy time.
The appeal will be broadcast on BBC One on Sunday, 31st May at 2.05pm, and repeated on BBC Two on Monday 1st June at 1.30pm and will also be available online at https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m000jr8v.
The BBC has helped raise money for hundreds of charities across the UK and abroad for over 25 years through its Lifeline Appeals and this month Bag Books has been given the fantastic opportunity to be featured. We’re delighted to be able to raise awareness about our work as well as much needed funds, and we hope that you all enjoy watching the short film.
Please do tune in on Sunday or Monday, but don’t worry if you're not able to catch the live broadcast, the appeal will be available to watch online on BBC iPlayer by clicking on the button below.
We would be extremely grateful if you could watch and support the appeal and invite your friends, families, and other contacts to do the same. The more people we can reach with this film, the more people’s lives we will be able to transform!
We believe that everyone has the right to access the wonderful world of stories and the film provides a great opportunity for you to get to know a few of the families who love and use Bag Books. By supporting this appeal, you can enable Bag Books to help improve the lives of more profoundly disabled children and adults through sharing the joy of storytelling
